Craig Dougall has been a practicing Architectural Technologist for over 20 years. He studied at Edinburgh’s Telford College where he gained an HNC in Built Environment and during his 4 years studying he was employed with a small architectural practice in the centre of Edinburgh. Once qualified he worked for one of the largest property consultants in Scotland where he gained an excellent knowledge of the construction process from beginning to end and built-up a wealth of contacts who he is still friends with today.

During the last 30 years Craig has worked on various Commercial and Residential Developments ranging from very simple alterations to houses to project managing the development of large industrial units and residential developments. During this time Craig has built up an excellent knowledge of the building and planning regulations and the construction process. He has worked very closely with small contractors on house extension to working with major commercial construction companies supervising and project managing various developments.

Craig established Urban Designs Limited in September 2018 as he felt there was a gap in the market for clients looking for an affordable option when obtaining planning, building warrants, listed building consent and project management. Craig has a wealth of experience behind him and thrives on working with clients on residential and commercial projects.

Craig enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and is a keen runner and cyclist spending his weekends running around Edinburgh and the Lothians
